产业信息网发布的《2013-2018年中国核电行业市场分析及投资前景评估报告》报告显示：截至2012年底，加拿大累计建设了25台核电机组（当中6台机组已经永久性关闭）。2012年加拿大核电发电量为891亿千瓦时，发电量较2011年增加8亿千瓦时；核电占加拿大发电总量的15.3%，占比与2011年持平。
